House Tour

You will have to excuse my irregular posts at the moment. They will become more frequent soon, I promise. Today I thought I would show you another great house for sale from Alvhemmakleri This  small Swedish bright and inviting which was the draw card for me.

The pops of yellow give off a playful vibe. Adding a yellow chair to any room gives it a lift. Check these ones out from Fenton and Fenton. The sheepskin rugs add warmth and texture. Lucky for me I am from a farm so these are not hard to come across. However if you are looking to purchase similar check out these beauties from Home Base Collections.

A framed poster makes cool well priced artwork as you can see above. Check out here for a huge range of options.Loving that relaxing leather chair working well as a reading nook. Check out these flutter chairs from here to achieve the same look. The low swung pendant light works well above the table and looks rad with that red cord. Get a similar look from BOUDI.

Lots of storage space and some very cool subway tiles top off an easy care yet stylish kitchen. Check out The Tile Depot for similar.

Enjoy,

Open kitchen shelves

So I really am quite the fan at the moment of open kitchen shelves. An easy and cool way to display all of that beautiful dinner wear that you usually have hidden away in cupboards. A great space saver and a breeze to assemble. Wood shelving, brackets, screws and paint and there you have it. What do you think?

Nordic Feeling

Apologies for my absence over the past couple of days. I trust that you are all well on this Monday morning. I wanted to start the week off with a Tumblr page that I have just discovered. Nordic Feeling is the one, bringing us images from Copenhagen to Oslo and beyond.

Do check it out and I will be back later on with some more postings to make up for lost time.

Guest post- style.life.home

It is such a pleasure to have Simone from style.life.home back with us on the blog. Check out Simones previous guest posting here and enjoy what she has to share today. x

One of my much loved finds at the moment is the addition of shades of the colour grey into interiors; harmonising grey can be teamed with white, black and even a splash of pastels.

Grey can be used softy onto walls or even a heavy charcoal in your furnishings to add contrast into a room, also remember to layer a mix of different textiles, pendant lights and treasures to compliment the colour.

I hope you find some inspiring interior ideas to add into your style at home.

Ollie and Sebs Haus

I was over checking out House & Hold blog when I discovered a new blog by the name of Ollie and Seb's Haus. Deborah the creator of Ollie and Seb's Haus has a clear love for clean black and white lines. She is also the driving force behind the Pinterest page A Piece of Cake.

Find a similar rug here at LET LIV and good news, Cush and Nooks are now supplying these awesome Acapulo Chairs. head over to the Cush and Nooks blog for your chance to win one.
Check out the selection of Eames replica rocking chairs from here. Great as a nursing chair in the baby room seen above.

Black and white cushions are a great way to mix and match fabrics and add personality to your sofas. You can purchase the crosses cushion from here at IKEA. Cool idea to hang books or magazines as art work to your walls as seen above using wire coat hangers.

I hope that you enjoy checking out Ollie and Seb's Haus as much as I did.

Happy weekend.

Small living

I am a big fan of a large mat used in your living room to create a cozy space. You can find a similar back and white Ikea mat from here.  Framing a mix of prints, photos and posters is an awesome way to add texture and personality to the walls.
Loving the tiles in that small kitchen. Top of my wish list right now.
Great mix of chairs surrounding the dining table. You can find a similar high chair here. Again they have created a cluster wall of pictures and prints. Love that vintage doctors eye chart. Find a similar one here and frame it up. Stock up on your frames from Factory Frames  here.

Fresh white linen. Cant go wrong. Wallace and Cotton do a fab set of white linen. Check it out here.
Lastly add bunting to any childs room to give off a fun colourful vibe. Check here at Tea Pea for similar. You can find a great range of child and baby bedding here.

What did you think of the new set up for Milo and Mitzy? Going through the pictures one at a time and providing the links to find similar products? Not my idea actually. I have stolen this little one from the experts. Vic and Michelle do it so well.

Natural

via
Its no secret that I am a massive fan of natural colours and materials. Raw wood mixed with white gets me every time. I am currently on the hunt for a wooden bench seat to sit at the end of our bed. Another reason this combo is a winner is the fact that you can then add art work and other various accents to bring in your own individual style. This combo creates a light an airy feel and to me, a welcoming space. Father Rabbit does it well so too does Gorgi New Zealand in the linen that they produce. What do you think? Winner or too dull?
